People & Purpose

Necessity is the mother of invention, as they say. When restaurants were especially hard-hit during the 2020 pandemic, Levi Goode found new ways to keep on truckin’—in this case, quite literally. He took his fleet of Goode Co. Restaurants delivery trucks, converted his central kitchen and commissary into a fulfillment center, and introduced a grocery delivery business that brought Houstonians hard-to-find fare—ranging from fresh produce to paper towels—and helped him keep more of his hardworking staff employed. Goode Co. Grocers was born, and we were honored to outfit the new concept with an identity and suite of tools to bring it to life.

The identity takes its cue from early grocery and mercantile stores, mixing bold type and cheerful brush script-style lettering with clean lines and a palette reminiscent of leather aprons, crisp red apples, and blue jeans. The trademark seal and other circular elements reinforce the brand line “Goode Goes Around.”
